Self Cleaning Oven Locked Door Open

Kitchenaid ovens with a self cleaning feature have a locking mechanism that activates when the oven reaches a certain temperature during the self cleaning cycle. Then plug it back in again which may reset the temperature gauge and cause it to unlock.
